Luis Gonzalez of College of the Sequoias CA placed third in the men's 4-mile race at the Central Valley Conference Championships, clocking 23:16 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Gonzalez helped the Giants take second to Fresno City College by a 20-40 margin, snapping College of the Sequoias' run of conference titles at three in a row.
